Hide Apps you can't Delete
Every iPad currently comes with a number of built-in apps. You can find an introduction to the built-in apps on the Apple website at this link. These default apps appear on the home screen and the dock of your iPad once you set it up. You can’t delete any of the apps that come with your iPad. However, you can hide several of these apps so you don’t see them or so others won’t have access to them.
Hide them so you don't see them
The simplest solution is to create a folder and drag all the apps you don't want into that folder. Place that folder on your last page where you never have to see it.
Why would you want to hide some of these apps?
Because there are better third-party versions in the App Store. Of course, this is a very personal decision. I dislike Apple's Maps app and choose to use Google maps. I use Google Calendar, Skype instead of Facetime and my phone's SMS service instead of MEssages. As I don't play games, why have a GameCenter app? And don't get me started about Photo Booth!
Use Restrictions to disable some built-in apps
Go to Settings > General > Restrictions
Enable Restrictions and set a passcode you will remember.
Then toggle OFF the apps you don’t want to see or use.
For example. if you don't want to use the Facetime app, and never want to see the app - even hidden in a folder, you can disable it. It will not appear anywhere on a home screen. However, not all of the built-in apps can be disabled and so hiding them becomes the more useful option.
